Álvaro Pereira

Alvaro Pereira is a doctoral candidate at Berkeley Law, as well as co-founder and advisory board member of Boalt Global Corporate Law Society. He holds an LLB and a Masters in Law degree from Universidad de los Andes, and an LLM from Berkeley Law. Before joining Berkeley’s J.S.D. program, he was a lecturer at Universidad de los Andes, . At UC Berkeley, he has been an instructor of “Principles of Business” (Haas School of Business) and “Law and Development” (Legal Studies Department). His research explores the relationship between corporate law, economic growth, and society, from a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective, with an emphasis in finance.
