Carla Cervantes
Carla Cervantes earned a law degree awarded by the National University of San Marcos - UNMSM (Peru). She is currently a Legal Assistant at Martinot Abogados Law Firm, where she focuses his professional practice on insolvency law, restructuring (private and public), bankruptcy and corporate and administrative matters. She has worked in the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property – INDECOPI. She is the first woman and Spanish speaker to win the Richard Turton Award (2020) for her research work “Necessary reforms: Adaptation of insolvency regimes in Latin America due to the crisis”. She has been a selected speaker at different events such as the International Conference of Latin American and Iberian Law and Economics Association – ALADE (2019).
