Jesús Alfaro

Jesús Alfaro is Lecturer in Commercial Law at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He holds an LLB and a Ph. D. in law from the same University. He also undertook studies in Heidelberg University and in the University of Chicago. Dr. Alfaro is a well-known specialist in Corporate Law, Contract Law, Competition Law and in the Economic Analysis of Law. He has published several articles in Spanish and foreign journals, as well as two books: one on contracts and social interest, and other on shareholders’ preemptive rights. Dr. Alfaro has also participated as speaker in several national and international congresses on Corporate Law, Competition Law and Economic Analysis of law. Dr. Alfaro is currently an external consultant of Linklater’s Madrid office.
