Rosa María Rojas Vertiz
Law degree with honors (Escuela Libre de Derecho), as a chevening scholar (British Council) studied a LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law (The London School of Economics and Political Science). Expert in Amparo Proceedings (Universidad Panamericana). International Bankruptcy Course sponsored by the American College of Bankruptcy and the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation. Has advised foreign financial institutions and multinational organizations on the structuring, negotiating and implementing of all types of financing and security interests, as well as, on insolvency and international restructurings, corporate and commercial law matters. Morevoer, she combines her experience in corporate law with expertise in the litigation of civil, commercial and constitutional challenge proceedings, after having worked for more than 7 years in the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico, drafting judgments, mainly on civil, business, commercial and finance law, including insolvency law. Has many publications in national and foreign magazines, has taught business law in some of the main universities of Mexico, has participated as speaker in many conferences in Mexico and abroad, including the International Insolvency Institute 16th Annual Conference, which took place in Tokyo, Japan, on June 2016, as a NextGen member.
