Werner Bijkerk

Werner Bijkerk is a leading global expert in regulatory and supervisory strategy. He is partner at Simplexxis, an independent consultancy to the financial industry and the regulatory community worldwide. He is an external expert to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and a member of the advisory council of the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts. Previously, he worked as a research director at the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), a strategist and analyst at the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), a researcher at a university think tank, and as an entrepreneur.
